Our goal was to design a refillable roll-on deodorant that is so beautiful you'll want to keep it for a lifetime. A design suited for both men and women.
BUILT TO LAST - Many brands create products that only last a few months so you have to buy them again and again. We want to be different and honest and create something that you can grow old with. Like a trusted friend.
ALL ABOUT THE LOOK - Deodorants are ugly and something you normally hide in your bathroom. That's not the case here. The Lifelong deodorant adds a subtle hint of quality and prestige while eliminating ugly single-use plastic.
FEEL THE FORCE - A one-of-a-kind magnetic lid keeps your deodorant fresh, safe, and leakproof. Twelve small magnets give a pleasant industrial feel while making sure the lid stays securely on the applicator.
Be careful though, the soft metallic 'clinking' sound and the magical, magnetic feeling will keep you opening and closing your lid for fun (and pleasure)!
FEEL THE TEXTURE - Knurling (texture) is added to the outer layer to give an industrial look and comfortable grip. The applicator is anodized to harden the outside of the surface adding longevity to the product.
STOCKHOLM - BLACK - Our company was founded in this beautiful city and our design is inspired by Swedish minimalism. The colour represents the cosy, dark, winter night sky.
OSLO ROSE GOLD - Named after the stunning sunsets that caress the horizon throughout Norway. A sky full of reds, purples, and pinks that once seen, is never forgotten.
COPENHAGEN STEEL - Named after the unique industrial architecture that populates Denmark's biggest city. A place that leaves you feeling inspired, content, and powerful.
The crystal ball is removable. You can easily wash and clean them. You can customise your deodorant with different colored crystal balls depending on how you wish your deo to look. Steel and black, rose gold and clear crystal, or what about black and green crystal? People are unique and we wanted to make our deodorants so.
THE COLORS - There are six different colored crystal balls to choose from, black, clear, pink, green, purple, and yellow. New crystal balls can be added to your pledge as an add-on.
POWERED BY POWDER - Since 2018 we have been on a mission to create a sustainable, plastic-free deodorant. The challenge was a lot harder than we initially thought.
A unique 'powder to liquid' formulation created in collaboration with one of Europe's most sustainable, certified chemists. Together we made a product that is easy to use and kind to both people and the planet.
POST CAMPAIGN REFILL COSTS - We wanted to make sure the deodorant is affordable for all. The more people who use our products, the more plastic we save and also remove from the ocean. (every refill pack will remove 1kg of plastic) For total transparency, we purchase the powdered deodorant for around 2.50 euros per sachet. then we need to factor in VAT and packaging, handling, so we will need to charge 9 euros per deodorant. This will leave us with a profit of around 3 euros. We will also offer FREE worldwide shipping to all backers. We aren't here to make billions from our customers, we are here to make a difference in the world, and offer great products at reasonable prices. We wanted to break it down so you guys can clearly see what we charge and why.
We created two scents that work well for both men and women. We plan to launch more scents in 2023 with feedback and collaboration from our Kickstarter community.

WOODLAND AIR - Is like a breath of fresh woodland air.
The cooling woody tone of cedar wood, mixed with a clean citrus smell from Neroli gives a calming effect on your mood. The scent is then topped off with the added spice from bergamonte that helps reduce stress and anxiety.
CITRUS TONIC - Clean aroma of citrus fruits
A base of white musc that helps you relax emotionally while increasing your happiness. Mixed with the gentle scent of green tea that sharpens your mind and focus while finally topping off the scent with citrus that uplifts your mood and reduces anxiety.
ZERO SCENT - Everything & Nothing
We had this as a stretch goal of 140k euros and blew past this. So consider it done. We will offer a fragrance-free option.
Why these ingredients? We work with one of Europe's leading, sustainable, certified manufacturers that specialises in powdered personal care products. Our mission is to make a plastic-free deodorant that not only smells great but also works. Most natural deo's don't work so well and we tested many along the way. After lots of iterations, this was the best formula that kept you smelling great all day, without staining your clothes, or causing any skin reactions.
THREE SIMPLE STEPS
1) Unscrew the cap and add the powdered deodorant.

NO ANIMAL TESTING - Thankfully, in the European Union, selling cosmetics that have been tested on animals is prohibited. However, in the rest of the world, this is not the case. As our products are manufactured in France the products are certified 'Free from Animal testing' Yaay!
REMOVE PLASTIC FROM THE OCEAN - Lifelong was born from the idea that we can ALL make a difference but we can't do it ALL alone. That's why we have partnered with Seven Clean Seas, a world leader in removing plastic from the ocean. For every starter pack you pledge you'll remove 1kg of plastic from the ocean. Our goal is to remove 1000 kgs of plastic from this campaign but we need your help.

Post-campaign purchasing has been a problem for many international brands due to shipping costs and import duties. This is why we promise to offer FREE shipping FOREVER on refills to our BACKERS worldwide. We don't believe you should support a brand then not be able to keep using the product due to expensive shipping.
Each deodorant refill only weighs 6 grams / 0.2 ounces. We can ship three refills in a small envelope. Simple, affordable, and environmentally friendly.
The envelope will go with the normal postage routes meaning no extra transport emissions compared to using a private service such as DHL.
Three years ago, while putting on some deo, I looked at the plastic packaging and thought, do I really have to use these single-use deodorants that damage the environment and my health, for the rest of my life? What if we could make a deo so beautiful, you'd keep it for life? And so the journey began.
That's when I met Fernando and Silvia, my Co-Founders, who share the same vision for replacing ugly, single-use plastic products with beautifully designed alternatives. We may be a small team taking on some big companies but believe we have what it truly takes to make a difference. We've given the product to some lucky BETA testers and the feedback has been amazing. Some people love the design, others the natural ingredients, some loved the scents and of course, everyone appreciated the fact that this is PLASTIC FREE. Check out some feedback we've had. In case anyone has any doubt about the ability to fulfill this campaign on time (as much as possible) and to the quality you guys deserve then I would like to point to some of the feedback I received from my previous campaign. Rest assured we will deliver by far, the most sustainable, beautiful, successful deodorant Kickstarter of all time.
Fully insured. No import duties. As the product has magnets the shipping route will need to pass through the battery channel which is 20% higher than the normal route. There is no way around this, unfortunately. Rest assured though, your product will be shipped DDP (delivered duty paid). We don't believe it's fair for Kickstarter backers to back a project and then be hit with an import fine. Extra costs make you feel 🤢 to the stomach so we wanted to be upfront and clear.
Is your product vegan? YES YES and another big YES! Animals need to stay away from the personal care industry.
Does your product contain sodium bicarbonate?
No, it doesn't. Please don't worry. Our formula does not contain this. Our manufacturer thrives on being the most sustainable, healthy personal care manufacturer in Europe!
Has the product been tested? Yes of course! Our manufacturer legally can't sell the product without rigorous certifications and testing by EU law. They have tried and tested the powder for the past two years for safety. They only specialize in powdered products that are good for you and the planet and wouldn't put in any ingredients that can potentially harm you. I've been working with this manufacturer creating shampoo, body wash, and hand soaps for the past three years without any customer complaints about the products.
How much will refills be post-campaign? We wanted to make sure the deodorant is affordable for all. The more people who use our products, the more plastic we save and also remove from the ocean. (every refill pack will remove 1kg of plastic). We wanted to break it down so you guys can clearly see what we charge and why.
Where can I buy refills from? You will easily be able to order refills from our web store lifelong (dot) eco which has been running for the past three years selling powdered personal care products. We will offer an optional subscription pack of three refills sent every six months (one lasts two months) or a yearly subscription of six refills. Or you can simply buy them when you need them, without subscribing, the choice is yours.
What happens if you no longer want to run Lifelong, where will we get refills from? Don't worry, we haven't worked for three years on a product to simply give up. Our goal is to make the biggest impact possible and have no plans to shut up shop...ever. We have a strong, passionate team who will keep the company alive. If for any reason the brand failed in the future, then we'll put all our customers in touch with our manufacturer who sells their own powdered deodorant and will happily supply you with refills.
Is there a scent-free option? - Many people have asked this and we plan to make it an easily reachable stretch goal! Don't worry we will make sure you can have this as a choice post-campaign. It's a great idea, created by the KS community!
Where do you ship to? We ship worldwide. We also guarantee that we can fulfill deodorant refills for the applicator worldwide - post-campaign. All other 'refill' products on Kickstarter have trouble doing this due to the size and weight of the refills. We won't have this problem with our powdered deodorants.
What is the shelf life of the product? An unopened refill will have a shelf life, clearly marked for TWO years. Once the sachet is opened and the deodorant is mixed the product will have a shelf life of six (6) months.
